Do not attend any health service if you suspect you have Coronavirus. Please check the latest NHS information and advice at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus. This includes information about using the NHS 111 service if your need is urgent.

Talksafe

Info:

Talksafe is an emotional wellbeing service for young people aged 10-21, who live in London - it is a safe, confidential space where a young person can access:

- Free counselling with a trained counsellor; online, in person or by phone
- Places to talk with another young person, who is a trained peer mentor, about things concerning them - online and face to face
-  Online message boards to write about anything on their mind
-  A website for information and advice on a wide range of issues - www.talksafe.org.uk

Young people can refer themselves by registering on the website or contacting us directly on the text phone 07791 309 142. There isn't a long referral process as the counsellors will do a full assessment with the young person in their first counselling session.

As well as accessing support and information, young people can also get involved with the project as Peer Mentors and as part of an Executive Group to help develop the project. If you think you might be interested in getting involved with the project, you can do it locally in your area. Training and meetings will be at a central location, but mainly it can be done within your local community. Contact us to find out more.
