Used to be called the Family Planning service.

This is an integration of the contraception and sexual health (CASH) service previously held at Edridge Road and the Sexual Health Centre at Croydon University Hospital. It provides a convenient one-stop shop for all of your sexual health care, with walk-in clinics offering the following services:

  • a full range of contraception including: pills, depot injection, implants and coils
  • pregnancy testing and advice
  • abortion referral and advice
  • emergency contraception
  • testing for STIs and HIV
  • treatment for all STIs
  • information and advice for contraception and STIs
  • PrEP - PrEP means pre-exposure prophylaxis and is a pill that you take before and after unprotected sex to prevent you catching HIV. For more information please visit https://www.croydonsexualhealth.nhs.uk/prep.

Tuesday:

8.30am-12pm Contraception & sexual health for all ages 


3.00pm - 5.30pm The Point (walk in or telephone to book appointment) contraception & sexual health for 18's and under only

Wednesday:

10.30am-5.30pm Contraception & sexual health (all ages)

Thursday:

8.30am-5.30pm Contraception & sexual health (all ages)

Friday:

8.30am-4.00pm Contraception & sexual health (all ages)

Notes:

Our dedicated young person's clinic, The Point for people aged 18 and under remains open to walk ins and telephone bookings on Tuesdays between 3.00pm and 5.30pm.

All other appointments can be booked by phone 24 hours in advance.Phone lines open at 8:30am every week day except Wednesdays at 10:30am.

Please note that we start seeing patients 30 minutes after opening.
