Emergency Contraception @ The Wolverton Centre

The Wolverton Centre, Kingston Hospital
Galsworthy Road
Kingston-upon-Thames
KT2 7QB

Telephone: 020 8974 9331

Info:

The Wolverton Centre is a dedicated Sexual Health Clinic open Monday to Friday. The centre was established in 1995 and is located on-site at Kingston NHS Trust Hospital. The clinic specializes in sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), contraception, HIV, and specialist genitourinary medicine services.

You can use emergency contraception if you have had sex without using contraception, or if your contraception method has failed. It is more effective, the sooner it is taken after sex but it needs to be taken within 72 hours. The Wolverton Centre provides this service free of charge. On arrival, please let the receptionist know you require emergency contraception.

Latest news:
We now offer long lasting contraception (such as “the coil” or “the implant”) on Wednesday afternoons, by appointment only. For more information please telephone 020 8934 2002 and speak to Rachel Sands.
